The flood of thoughts describes the state in which man is “full of thoughts, one thought chases the next and man has the feeling that there is no end to it and that he would like to run away from his self. Even at night it does not stop and man has sleep disturbances at some time in the process.
The thoughts of man belong to his mental body and are connected with the lung organ and the element wind (arrogance) from the view of Tibetan medicine.
The thoughts threaten to burn the human being because he does not pronounce the incriminating thoughts. This means that the bile fire burns too high and the body is subsequently flooded by slime/water. So the ignition of the wind/air can evaporate the water and the heart fire can start to burn again. The more the human fire burns, the less he has to worry about it. That means, if the person sees something in his life that should be done, he should do it immediately, because this corresponds to the principle of the living fire. If a person does not do this, the list of open things becomes too long and he gets the feeling that I cannot do that. Likewise, the own worship supports the need of the soul and the fire element is lived so in the everyday life.
